OBTAINING A GREEN CARD:
  1. Immigration through a family member (relative petitions):
    Preference categories:
    If you wish to immigrate as a relative of an U.S. Citizen or a lawful permanent resident, you must obtain an immigrant visa number based on the preference category in which you fall:
    • Immediate relatives of United States citizens: Parents, spouses and unmarried children under the age of 21.
    • First preference: Unmarried adult children over the age of 21 of United States Citizens
    • Second preference: Spouses of lawful permanent residents, their unmarried children (under the age of 21) and the unmarried sons and daughters of lawful permanent residents;
    • Third preference: Married children of United States Citizens.
    • Fourth preference: Brothers and sisters of adult U.S. Citizens.
  2. Immigration through employment:
    • Employment First Preference (EB1): People with extraordinary abilities in the sciences, arts, education, business or athletics. Outstanding professors or researchers; managers and executives who are subject to international transfer to the United States.
    • Employment Second Preference(EB2): Professionals with advanced degrees or persons with exceptional abilities in the sciences, arts or business including qualified alien physicians.
    • Employment Third preference (EB3): skilled or professional workers.
    • Employment Fourth preference (EB4) Special Immigrants: Foreign national religious workers and employees of the United States government.
    • Immigration through investment (EB5): To qualify, foreign nationals should invest between $500,000 to $1 million in a commercial enterprise which will create full time employment for 10 qualified individuals not including the investor and his family.

NATURALIZATION
Our Law Office not only helps clients to file their Naturalization Applications (N-400), which should be done accurately and thoroughly, but also represents them before the USCIS at Long Island Office, New York Office - Federal Plaza, and New Jersey Office - Newark. Special attention is given to elderly and disabled clients who qualified for form N-648.

B-1/B-2
visas are for temporary visitors for business or for pleasure.
F-1
visa is for foreign students studying at an accredited academic institutions in the United States.
H-1A
visa is is designed for Registered Nurses.
H-1B
visa is granted to applicants who have special knowledge in a fields which requires post-secondary education equivalent to a bachelor's degree. Three years of experience may substitute for one year of college.
H-2A
visa is designed for temporary or seasonal agricultural workers;
H-2B
visa is designed for temporary or seasonal nonagricultural skilled or unskilled workers;
H-3
visa is designed for trainees
L
visa is granted to intra-company transfers in managerial or executives positions.
O
visa is given to individuals, as well as their family members, who have extraordinary abilities in sciences, arts, education, business or athletics, and who have been recognized nationally or internationally.
P
visas are given to athletes or members of entertainment groups, who perform individually, or as a team, at an internationally recognized level.
